It's your wedding day... so let's go to the supermarket!
Well what a day we had on Friday at Julia & James' wedding at The Alma Inn, Laneshaw Bridge.
The bride stepped into her fabulous gown from Emma Hartley Bridalwear at the couple's home in Barrowford before having a beautiful service at Church of St Mary le Ghyll, Barnoldswick which was officiated by Curate Julie Clarkson.
I am reliably informed this was her first wedding & she did a sterling job!
After the customary confetti throwing...
...we then set off on a little adventure in a beautiful Regent Landaulette in silver and pewter provided by Malvern Wedding Cars! The Bride & groom both work & met at Morrisons Supermarket in Nelson so that's where we headed!
We were greeted by customers, staff & the store manager with a decorated trolly containing a bottle of pink champagne. It was only fitting therefore that two of the guys hoiked James into the trolley for Julia to push him around fruit & veg :D
It was then swiflty on to a poignant moment at The Grange Nursing Home to see James' grandma & my oh my doesn't she look well for 96!
It was then up to The Alma to meet back up with family & friends for food, photos & fun. The figureheads on the cake had the most brilliant likeness for the bride & groom. All credit to Beckys Cake Boutique for her amazing skills! Absolutely loved it!
Mr & Mrs Julia & James Strickland, I once againgive you a HUGE congratulations & wish you both all the very best for the future.
Enjoy your honeymoon xxx
